Outside Work - December 6

The barn is almost complete and I will be moving everyone up to their new home this weekend.  The backyard fence is almost done also.  I'm not sure how the dogs are going to like living outside.  :(  Oh, there doghouse is in the process of being insulated, doggie door has been put in and then I will be moving their full size bed up there.  :)  Pictures posted soon!

Applicance Delivered - December 2

All the appliances were delivered today.  We have to make a few small adjustments with the cabinets for everything to fit perfectly and some trim needs to be put up around the refrigerator and freezer and pictures will be posted soon!

Carpet - December 1

:)  Carpet was installed upstairs today! I'm not going to lie, the girls and I took our shoes and socks off and ran all over!  Wow, it's pretty cushy carpet, we love it!

These floors are gorgeous and the tile looks great! The stairs are to die for!

Granite - November 23

The granite for the kitchen arrived and was installed today! OMG I love it! I can't wait to cook Thanksgiving dinner next year in that kitchen! 

MOVE IN DATE!

I do have a tentative move in date but I am trying to keep it secret, just in case.  There were a few delays in getting some of the material to the house which has pushed everything back a bit.  Also, you never know how the final inspection will go.  Let's just say it might be a VERY Merry Christmas! 

Tile - November 22

Tile work is starting today!  The master bathroom looks like it will probably take a few days to get done but it is going to be gorgeous! 

Cabinets - November 17

Wow, the cabinets were delivered and installed today.  They are beautiful.  The guys did an awesome job! 

Lighting - November 10

I am really loving the recessed lighting we decided on.  Having lights on has given the house a whole new look and just makes me love my color choices even more!

Paint - November 7

We finally have paint on the walls and trim.  The doors and trim look black but they are actually a dark brown color called Weather Vane.  I love it!  The wall color is Bagel.  I wasn't sure when the wall color went on if I was really loving it but it is growing on me and once some hard surfaces get put in I think it will look great.

Texture on Walls - October 25

So it's been a while since posting last.  Texture has now been put on the walls and ceilings.  Tomorrow the trim work will start and at the end of the week painting will begin!  Big changes will be happening soon, cabinets, flooring and counter tops!  Watch for my pictures!

Sheet Rock - October 7

It's been a couple of weeks since I have posted anything but there has been work going on!  Sheet rock is on all the walls! It really looks so good and I am so excited to start seeing the flooring and cabinets go in! 

Exterior - September 13

Oh my gosh! I am loving the way the house looks!  From the columns to the shakes! The "princess tower" is complete and is awesome!  Can't think of a better way to start the morning that with a cup of coffee watching the sun come up on it!  The sun tunnels we put in the bathrooms are amazing!  You can see in the picture how bright it is and there was barely any sun out when I took the picture!
